Technology Team Restructuring

Client Profile:

Our client is an Architectural, Engineering and construction firm specializing in facility and commercial builds.

Client Challenge:

Our client benefited greatly from rapid growth which led to an increase in their workforce, additional locations and operations. The existing Information Technology Infrastructure presented a challenge. The client had outsourced their Managed Service Provider (MSP) to handle server maintenance and provide technical support for a medium-sized user base. The IT infrastructure had not been updated to accommodate the growth in the workforce. Furthermore, both the field offices and home offices were experiencing inadequate support from the MSP. The provider had limited availability and resources, and there were no Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place to hold them accountable for their services. The recognized the need for an updated IT infrastructure and solutions that could support applications, mobile devices, and field service operations and a Technology Team Restructuring. They required guidance on the best approach to resolve these issues and create an expansion plan. Budget considerations were also a key factor in their decision-making process.
